Immediately after he gained fame, 50 Cent passed the spotlight onto his artists. This put Lloyd Banks firmly in the center of the spotlight and he did right by it. In his own right, Lloyd Banks scored quite a few hits from 2004-2006 and had a resurgence in 2010.
Lloyd Banks scored plenty of hits, starting with “On Fire,” boasting an uncredited appearance from 50 Cent. However, Lloyd Banks went out on his own and made hits. Hardcore fans know him for his mixtapes and clever punchlines.
Last month, Hip Hop Vibe had the opportunity to catch Lloyd Banks live in concert. He performed at B.B. Kings, a couple of weeks ago. Not only did he perform those older records, Lloyd Banks also delivered some of those hits from the mid-2000s that people know and love him for.
