HHV Exclusive: Kofi Siriboe talks “wokeness” vs “fake wokeness” on social media on “Girls Trip” red carpet

Though he appears to be a newcomer, Kofi Siriboe has been around for quite some time. The young star really came into his own, when he had a role in Straight Outta Compton, two years ago. He has since moved into a series role on “Queen Sugar,” on the OWN network.

Kofi Siriboe also had a role in Girls Trip, the new movie out, starring veterans Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall, and Tiffany Haddish. This role is adding to his celebrity status, as he continues to rise. He has used his celebrity profile to raise awareness.

On the Girls’ Trip red carpet, Hip-HopVibe.com caught up with Kofi Siriboe, as @MJThatMediaGurl spoke to him. During their interview, he spoke on being socially conscious. The discussion was about the woke people on social media, versus the fake woke people on social media.
