Yacht Club Music Group is a rising record label that has a roster of seven artists from all the way from Buffalo, New York to New Jersey. Two of the main artists on the label are J. Halkz and Luck Barnes. They were out to represent their brand last month at the Brooklyn Unity Fest.
J. Halkz is fresh off his new mixtape, called The Secret, and he rocked the crowd with tracks off the project. Meanwhile, Luck Barnes is pushing Good Luck Bad and it is taking over the mixtape circuit, as well. The duo were live and in effect, performing music off their respective and joint mixtapes.
Hip Hop Vibe had the opportunity to talk to J. Halkz and Luck Barnes right after they got off stage. They talked about all of the new music they have in the works and about the crowd at the Brooklyn Unity Fest. The future is bright for them and their entire label, Yacht Club Music Group.
