Can you briefly talk about some of your influences in the game? Some of my influences are artists like Lauryn Hill, Tupac, Outkast, Missy Elliott, R. Kelly, the list can go on. I’m so in love with music I mean the greats Prince, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross. They inspired me as a child.

As a female in the rap game, how do you feel about such ladies as Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea? I think they’re both talented women I believe in women empowerment in such a male dominant industry.

How do you feel about the hip hop scene here in Charlotte, in general? There’s a lot of talent in Charlotte. I feel like my city has been looked over but not for long. Me, being born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina I’m proud to be one of the artist representing for my city.

What can you say about your own music that separates you from the rest of the game? I feel like my music gives you a feeling an emotions it tells you a story “my story” and I hope that people are willing to listen to my story and want to get to know me not only me as a artist but as a person.

When should people expect you to release your next project? Very soon! I work on new music constantly it’s like a full time job. From when I wake up till I go to bed its all about music. I can’t wait for people to hear what I’ve been working on, from the club, to the street, down to real life situations. I bring all those different emotions out in my music.

Before we go, can you let the people know where they can find you on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram? @Goldie_Locz_222.
