Those who aren’t familiar with “Rosewood” should be familiar with the lovely Gabrielle Dennis. Long before her days with TMI (Anna Konkle), Gabrielle Dennis was on “The Game.” She played the foil in the push/pull Melanie and Derwin (Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall) saga.
Now, Gabrielle Dennis is Pippy, the younger sister of Rosewood aka Rosie (Morris Chestnut). Bringing diversity, in more ways than one, to the show, Pippy is also an open lesbian. Season one saw her and TMI’s relationship play out and, ultimately, end.
Gabrielle Dennis spoke to Michelle Madison for Hip-HopVibe.com when she visited the “Rosewood” set. Continuing the fun, Michelle talked to Gabrielle Dennis about the pranking going on with the cast, mainly Morris Chestnut, before speaking on he and Jaina Lee Ortiz being gym rats. She would also discuss her character’s new career path, this season, and the TMI split.
