So much attention has been given to the DJs this summer. A lot of DJs have gotten on their grind with compilation albums and singles. DJ Skizz is a legend on the New York hip hop scene and he has been doing Halftime Radio at 89.1 FM over the past few years, a little over a decade. Now, he is preparing his debut album.

Brooklyn-Queens Experience is the name of DJ Skizz’ new album and it’s due to be released on September 17. Already, DJ Skizz has released two singles off his upcoming album, “Vio-Lence,” with Lil Fame from M.O.P., and “Light Years” with Roc Marciano, A.G., O.C., and Godfather. DJ Khaled also drops on September 17.

Hip Hop Vibe caught up with DJ Skizz outside of 89.1 FM and Jried handled the video work. In their interview, DJ Skizz spoke on Brooklyn-Queens Experience and his love for each borough. DJ Skizz went on to discuss the rivalry, or lack thereof, with DJ Khaled, and his take on the state of DJs and hip hop.
