Good things come to those who wait and it was a long wait to see another DJ Charlie Hustle exclusive on Hip Hop Vibe. Earlier this summer, Respect The DJs ’14 took place and Hip Hop Vibe was on the scene. Many of the biggest DJs in Atlanta were also on deck there.
DJ Nabs was a part of Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def when they were first starting out. It was right when Kris Kross first took off that DJ Nabs was with them. Michael Jackson invited them to go on tour with him and DJ Nabs was the man who had the pleasure of providing the sound.
During the Respect The DJs ’14 event, DJ Nabs took time out to speak with some of his fam from the Core DJs. Reflecting on his career, DJ Nabs talked about the early days of So So Def and touring with Michael Jackson on the Dangerous tour. He also spoke on the Respect The DJs award and his history in the game, helping to break the careers of Ludacris, Outkast, and others.
