Back when Hot 97 was the leading radio station, they had a mix of personalities. One of the fan favorites was DJ Cipha Sounds and he formed quite the duo with Peter Rosenberg. However, the two were split up, when the morning show was revamped.
Within a year, DJ Cipha Sounds was no longer a part of Hot 97. One of his post-97 gigs was at Power 105.1, when Angie Martinez had him over to DJ one of her shows. Since then, he has continued the improv comedy.
DJ Cipha Sounds talked to Hip-HopVibe.com at the Ebony Power 100, speaking with MJ. The two talked about comedy, as he has a history, being the DJ for Dave Chappelle. He would then speak on the importance of comedy.
