The past year has seen 50 Cent come right back to the forefront of the hip hop world. Re-emerging after leaving Interscope Records, 50 Cent established a new deal and released his album last year. Then, 50 Cent made a memorable moment at Summer Jam, making peace with Nas.
50 Cent reunited with G-Unit and then “Power” launched on Starz. In the year since then, 50 Cent has seen all of his businesses growing and he also got into the vodka business. His new brand, Effen Vodka, makes 50 Cent direct competitors with Diddy’s Ciroc.
This past weekend, Hip Hop Vibe visited 50 Cent at his office after the Effen Vodka events in New York City. Zach Farlow was there and he performed for 50, which left him very impressed. Thus far, 2015’s summer has been big for the G-Unit boss. First, there was the Summer Jam performance with Nas. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the season two premiere of “Power.”
