H.E.R.’s 2020 “Damage” Single is Officially Certified Platinum

Over the past year, H.E.R. continues to show that she’s one of the most dominant R&B artists in the genre along with the industry in general. One record that has been “Damage.” This was released in October went on to peak at number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now, it’s reached another huge milestone since it’s release last fall.

According to Chart Data, Damage is now certified platinum by the RIAA in the US. This is after selling 1 million units. This single also did so well that H.E.R. performed it on “Saturday Night Live.”

Last month, H.E.R. added on to her momentum with the release of her “Come Through” single, featuring Chris Brown. During this day, the Bay Area native also revealed that her debut album is finally arriving, which is titled “Back Of My Mind.” An official release date has yet to be publicly revealed, though. Nonetheless, the hype is still on. This also comes as H.E.R. won two Grammys this spring along with an Oscar.
