Last year, Gunplay got tons of practice for what was to come next. Back tracking to the end of 2011, Gunplay announced his Bogota mixtape. Instead of releasing Bogota, Gunplay released his 601 & Snort mixtape. There are rumblings of Bogota coming in the form of an EP sometime before Medellin, his Def Jam debut, is released.
Gunplay has a lot of projects in the works, in addition to releasing Cops & Robbers, his new mixtape, to start the year off. Following the release of Cops & Robbers, Gunplay has been working with several artists. As evidenced by Gunplay’s new track with Turk, they have a lot more in the works.
HipHopDX.com sat down with Gunplay earlier today and they talked about his upcoming work. When asked about features, Gunplay revealed he had work coming with Yo Gotti, Big Sean, and Pharrell. In addition to this, Bogota will indeed see the light of day and Lil Wayne will feature Gunplay on I Am Not a Human Being 2.
