Gunna’s “Pushin P” becomes first single from 2022 to go gold
Gunna already has one of the biggest records of 2022. This is “Pushin P,” as it originally appeared on his third studio album, “DS4EVER.” This single also features Future and Young Thug, who are two of the biggest artists in the industry, as well. From the first time fans discovered this song on DS4EVER, it instantly became a viral hit.
The Pushin P phrase has had social media on fire, as Gunna revealed that it simply means keeping things playa. The song itself is still on fire, as it has now been certified gold in the US, according to Chart Data. It it also the first single released in 2022 to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
DS4EVER was originally released on January 7, and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It is also Gunna’s second consecutive number one solo album. Last summer though, the Atlanta rapper did hit the top spot again, as he and Young Thug’s YSL record label released their “Slime Language 2” album. DS4EVER contained 20 tracks in total, as it also featured appearances from Roddy Ricch, Chlöe, Kodsk Black, 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Yung Bleu, and more.
