Hands down, Gucci Mane is the Trap God and as of yesterday at 10:17 pm EST, he has two mixtapes stating this. Because he built most of his success on his own, Gucci Mane is very defensive when he feels threatened. Due to his connections, a lot of people have gotten on through the 1017 Brick Squad boss.
While Gucci Mane is the mixtape king down South, A$AP Ferg is also making a strong impact. The A$AP Mob is based in Harlem, but they have people all over the world, similar to Brick Squad. A$AP Ferg is a native of Texas and also familiar with the trap. Signed to RCA, he is preparing his Trap Lord mixtape.
Gucci Mane previously sounded off on Yo Gotti for releasing his CM7 mixtape the same day as the original Trap God mixtape. Now, Gucci Mane has to contend with A$AP Ferg titling his mixtape Trap Lord and releasing it during the same period of time. No one’s punk, Gucci took to Twitter to call out A$AP Ferg.
