Gregg Popovich talks Tim Duncan and explains why Kawhi Leonard is not playing in Game 3 | Warriors vs. Spurs | #NBAPlayoffs [VIDEO]

Watching Kawhi Leonard going down broke the hearts of Spurs fans, all around the world. With Kawhi Leonard, the Spurs looked unstoppable, but without him, they’ve gotten assaulted by the Warriors. However, there is time for the Spurs to turn it around.

The San Antonio Spurs are the standard by which all NBA franchises model themselves. Since 1999, the Spurs have managed 50 wins every season and likely would’ve then, if that season had more than 50 games played. But, the 2012 season saw them win 50 of 66 games.

Gregg Popovich and his management are credited for the Spurs becoming one of the most-successful franchises in NBA history. He made the decision, this afternoon, to sit Kawhi Leonard out. This afternoon, during shootaround, Popovich spoke to the media, explaining why he sat Leonard, and also discussed Tim Duncan.
