Nearly two weeks ago, horrible news broke about two women driving through a Greensboro, North Carolina parking lot and running people over. Eight people were hit and one person lost her life. The young woman was Zanelle Tucker, a 30-year-old mother of two.

Killing one person, there were seven other victims, as the women drove away from the scene. Found after the hit and run, the women were identified as Meranda Watlington and Fana Felton. The two were arrested and had their first day in court, last week.

In the case of Zanelle Tucker, the women were charged with first degree murder. Sitting in court was Tucker’s father, who questioned why they killed his daughter, as she has two young boys at home. Watlington has also been charged with Driving While Impaired, Felony Death by Motor Vehicle, Felony Hit-and-Run, Driving While License Revoked, and Failure to Reduce Speed.

Meranda Watlington and Fana Felton were charged with First Degree Murder and five counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.
