Golden State Warriors are still struggling? Memphis loss makes them 0-5 vs. Cavs, Spurs, Grizzlies, and Rockets, plus Draymond Green is frustrated with Kevin Durant and Steph Curry

Ball don’t lie and the Golden State Warriors had a 24 point lead against the Memphis Grizzlies. For those who haven’t been paying attention, the Grizzlies are the team Golden State knocked out of the playoffs in their 2015 title run. This is also the team they made history against.

Looks like the Grizzlies are tired of getting embarrassed by the Warriors every time they play. Turns out, the Grizzlies decided they weren’t having it and being in Oracle didn’t matter. Mike Conley turned up on them boys and they came out of there with the win.

Understand, this is a Warriors team that feels like this season should be the one where they are playing for their third straight title. Want to know something else? They’re right, they should be playing for their third straight title. Sadly, they’re not and that hurts.

Truth is, the officiating was pretty terrible in the Finals, last year. However, the Warriors let it get in their head. On top of that, Steph Curry never played well in the series and Klay Thompson was never consistent. How is Steph the team’s franchise player, when Andre Iguodala was awarded Finals MVP back in 2015?

Now, after that historic 73-9 season, where they DIDN’T win the championship, the Warriors are a scared basketball team. They win a lot of games, but last year’s 67-15 Spurs may have knocked them out of the playoffs if they could have survived the Thunder. Even Andre Iguodala admitted the Thunder should have beaten them last season.

If Kevin Durant stayed with Oklahoma City, no question they’d be beating up on Golden State, too. It’s pretty obvious that the Warriors are now afraid of the Cavaliers, as they should be. Also, they should be afraid of their Western Conference rivals. Their loss, last night, proved that and it proved so much more on top of that, too.

Last night’s loss brought the Warriors to 0-5 against the Spurs, Rockets, Cavaliers, and, now, Grizzlies. After gutting a part of their team to bring Kevin Durant in, Draymond Green is frustrated with him and Steph Curry for giving him the ball late. This is life, the Golden State Warriors, at 31-6, are “struggling” and need to get back on track.
