This season, Giannis Antetokounmpo lived up to the hype. The young star is the future of the Milwaukee Bucks and he got them back into the playoffs. Playing up-and-down, the team has gone to the playoffs every odd-numbered year since being swept by Miami in 2013.
Giannis Antetokounmpo represents a change in the Bucks’ franchise, moving towards consistency. Those who have followed this team know they’ve honestly lacked consistency since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, better known as Lew Alcindor in those days. But, a change is coming.
While the Toronto Raptors came into Milwaukee and got the win they needed, Giannis Antetokounmpo did not make it easy. When Toronto led by 25, Giannis sparked a comeback, which made it only a three point win. Afterward, he sat down with the media and spoke on the game, the season, and losing to the Raptors.
