Geto Boys Legend Bushwick Bill Officially Passed Away At Colorado Hospital Last Night After He Was Reported To Still Be Fighting For His Life

Yesterday, there were conflicting reports on if Geto Boys legend Bushwick Bill passed away at a hospital due to his fight with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His daughter and publicist confirmed that he was still fighting for his life and needed prayers.

As of 9:35PM last night hip-hop lost one of its best. Bill’s publicist confirmed to NPR as he passed away at a Colorado hospital. The cause of death has not been revealed yet despite signs pointing to the cancer. He was 52. He was surrounded by family members when he passed.

Bill had a long career with the Geto Boys as they released eight studio albums from 1988-2005. Some of their biggest hits were “Mind Playing Tricks on Me” and “Six Feet Deep.” Bill and the Geto Boys made themselves known as Houston and down south legends when they were hot but now, they’re still regarded as one of the best groups of all-time in general. RIP to Bill and condolences go out to his entire family.
