Back in 2018, Stacey Abrams went from being virtually unknown, to being a political superstar. Being a black woman, in Georgia, no one thought she could become the governor. But, Stacey Abrams nearly won the election, and some believe she actually did.
Stacey Abrams, ultimately, didn’t win the Georgia governor’s election. But, she continued to campaign, become an integral part of Joe Biden’s Georgia campaign. At the end of the election, Georgia went to Joe Biden, the first Democratic win, since 1992, in a presidential race.
This morning, Stacey Abrams visited “CBS This Morning,” where she visited to speak on Georgia’s voting rights, and her new book. While there, Gayle King threw a question out about Stacey Abrams dating. On Twitter, people immediately got offended, dragging Gayle King, calling her question “disrespectful,” asking if she’d ask Lindsey Graham the same question.
