Game talks “OKE” and explains why his new album has not come out yet with HotNewHipHop [VIDEO]

Game 15As all of these West Coast artists have emerged, Game has transitioned from being one of the newer artists to an elder statesman. It is Game who bridges the gap from the new generation, such as Thurz and Skeme, to the old generation of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Since 2011, he’s been on a second run with his career.

Following the release of 2012’s Jesus Piece, Game’s contact with Interscope Records ended. Ever since 2011, Game talked about owing only a handful of albums to the label before he could leave. Several times, Game hinted at signing a lucrative deal over at Cash Money Records.

Game released his Operation Kill Everything mixtape this week with DJ Skee and he has returned to the focal point with the tape. Most expected the mixtape in the summer and the album in the fall, but they didn’t get it. HotNewHipHop spoke to Game and he explained why this album has yet to come.
