The month of December was filled with high-profile releases. Among the albums that came out this month was Game’s Jesus Piece. Considered one of the best albums of the year, Game is pleased with the results of his fifth offering. In 2011, Game knocked Jay-Z and Kanye West off their “throne,” when The R.E.D. Album debuted at number one.

With his previous album, Game managed to debut at number one with 98,000 copies sold during his first week. Despite the low numbers, Game managed to come out on top of the charts and the same will be the case in 2012. Jesus Piece is projected to debut at number two on the charts, but there is a significant drop in numbers.

According to projections, Game will sell somewhere between 75,000 and 80,000 copies in the first week of sales with his new album. Game will finish a distant second behind Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift, who are in a virtual tie, regarding album sales. The projected sales for Game on this album are down 20,000 from his last album.
