Regardless of what he is involved in, Game goes hard. This is especially the case when it comes to where Game is from. Still, by many, Game is viewed as the king of Los Angeles’ hip hop scene. The Compton native went to war with his own ally, Shyne, when he called the debut album from Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, “trash.”

Game is fresh off his Jesus Piece album, which has been met with positive reviews by the critics, but has been overlooked, commercially. Despite this, Game managed to score a major hit with “Celebration.” The record includes collaborations with Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa.

With his album out and no new single on the horizon, Game was thought to be out of the news for some time. However, Game always finds ways to keep himself in the headlines. Last summer, Game fought 40 Glocc, while filming it and early in 2013 Game has gotten the word “Compton” tattooed on his stomach. Game puts on for his city.
