Future’s “Wait For U” with Drake and Tems is fastest 2022 collab to go gold
Two weeks ago, Future released his highly anticipated ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” This project contained 16 tracks, with appearances from Drake, Tems, Kanye West, Kodak Black, and more. The deluxe edition included six more tracks, which included Future’s “Worst Day” single. Collaborations from Lil Durk, 42 Dugg, Lil Baby, and more were also added.
I Never Liked You is also the number one album in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. It is Future’s seventh straight number one album, and his eighth number one, overall.
The biggest record off of I Never Liked You, has since become “Wait For U,” featuring Drake and Tems. Future went on to put out a music video for this, as it is becoming a massive hit. Tems is also one of the biggest international artists in the industry, being from Nigeria. Future also wins big, with his Drake collaborations.
Wait For U is currently the number one song in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now, it has reached another impressive milestone. According to Chart Data, it is now eligible for gold certification, in the US. This is after selling over 500,000 units. Wait For U is also the fastest 2022 collaboration, to go gold.
