Future’s “Wait For U” with Drake and Tems tops Billboard Hot 100 chart

This past weekend, Future’s new “I Never Liked You” album officially debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart. This became Future’s seventh straight number one album, and his eighth overall. I Never Liked You sold a massive 222,000 units in its first week, and had the biggest first week in album sales of any artist, in 2022.

I Never Liked You contained 22 tracks in total, after he released the deluxe edition, last week. The most popular record off of the album continues to be “Wait For U, featuring Drake and Tems.

Wait For U’s momentum hasn’t slowed down at all, as it is now the number one song in the US, as it has debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, per Chart Data.

Future now joins Drake, as the only artist to have both a song debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and an album at number one on the Billboard 200. Wait For U is also Tems’ first number one song.

16 songs from I Never Liked You have now simultaneously charted on this week’s Hot 100, as well. These included “712PM,” “Puffin On Zootiez,” “I’m Dat N*gga,” and more.
