A year ago during this time, Future put out another huge record with his “Life Is Good” single featuring Drake. This collab ended up being one of the biggest records of 2020 by two of the best artists in the game.
Life Is Good’s momentum hasn’t stopped at all as according to Chart Data, it has officially been certified 8x platinum by the RIAA in the US. This is after selling 8 million units in the US. This record went on to appear on Future’s eighth studio album, ‘High Off Life,’ in May 2019. That project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is platinum as well.
Life Is Good also received a remix in February 2019 which included DaBaby and Lil Baby. Future trended with the lyrics on this record with “And she call me daddy ’cause my money long like Stevie.” This was in reference to the Free Bandz rapper dating Lori Harvey at the time and mentioning her father, Steve Harvey, here.
