Haiti has gone through many tumultuous times over the past decade. Recently, the country dealt with the assassination of their president, Jovenel Moïse, in July. On August 14, the country was rocked by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. At least 2,207 people lost their lives.
Artists have been brining awareness and have been helping get supplies to Haiti since then, such as Zoey Dollaz. Now, Zoey’s FBG CEO, Future, is now pitching in as well. On September 3, Future will be holding a benefit concert for Haiti, in Miami, according to HipHopDX.
This concert will go down at the Oasis Wynwood area of Miami, at 7PM. Lil Uzi Vert and other artists will also be hitting the stage. Future went on to put out a video on his Instagram feed about this concert. There, he also encouraged others who know him, and other industries, to step up to support Haiti, during these times.
“I would love for all my friends, family, music industry, fashion, and all other industries, and people as a whole to stand up for Haiti. I want to use my voice to do whatever I can to support Haiti during these tragic times and will be doing a benefit concert on September 3rd in Miami. Tap in to support. – Pluto”
Tickets for this concert are available now. General admission cost is set at $100 each, and can be purchased here. Donations are also being accepted.
