The race to the top was a quick one for Future. Already connected in the industry, Future cranked out consecutive hits. Lil Wayne and Drake both played a part in this.
Drake heard “Tony Montana” and asked Future if he could get on the track. Initially, Lil Wayne also wanted to get on the track. Future refused this because he did not want to be overshadowed.
Eventually, Lil Wayne had his chance to work with Future, who is quickly becoming his equal in the game. Future is featured on Lil Wayne’s I Am Not a Human Being 2, which is due in two months. Lil Wayne and Drake are not the only two big names who will be working with Future, however. Future told Rap-Up TV there are many big names who will appear on Future Hendrix.
