Yesterday, the world was dealt shocking news when it was revealed that legendary Mobb Deep rapper, Prodigy, died. The Queens rapper, immediately, was mourned. In these later years, French Montana was a frequent Prodigy collaborator.
French Montana has enjoyed recognition as one of rap’s biggest names, since 2011. His popularity was shown when “Empire” cast him in a recurring role, this past season. There, French Montana proved he is the same person, wherever he is.
Bootleg Kev recently hosted French Montana at Real 92.3. While he was there, they told him about Prodigy’s death, which visibly disturbed him, leading to him speaking on Chinx’s death. Then, he spoke on “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee, his new platinum single, and his follow-up records with Max B and The Weeknd.
