One of the biggest songs to drop last summer was “Pop That” by French Montana. The song overtook the summer and featured Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne. A lot of backlash hit French Montana because he turned to a long list of names to appear on his single, but a hit is a hit.
Excuse My French was delayed several times and the album finally ended up being released before the official start of the summer. Over a year has passed since “Pop That” was hot, but it was over two years since French Montana began promoting his debut album. Now, French Montana might revisit “Pop That.”
According to the rumors hitting the internet, French Montana is preparing the official remix. “Pop That” was such a strong hit and if Kanye West had picked up the phone, it could’ve been a major hit under G.O.O.D. Music. In the end, Kanye West might receive a small benefit because he will appear on the rumored remix.
