Each come-up story in hip hop is different, yet still an interesting story to look back on and read. A recent story that should inspire people is French Montana, who went from being a street rapper to the man who helped bring New York back. Since then, he has dropped several hit singles, most notably “Pop That.”
Diddy signed French Montana to Bad Boy Records in 2011 and he ended up breathing new life into the label. At the time, Diddy had made it clear he was done with making music. But, after reclaiming his position as the biggest rap mogul in the game and starting a network, Diddy jumped back in the studio.
#MMM is the name of the new album and French Montana is playing a big role in the album. Clearly, Diddy is going to involve the Bad Boy roster on his new LP, but his relationship with French Montana is a bit closer than the others. French Montana revealed on Instagram that he is the executive producer of the new album.
