Diamond in the Ruff is the proper title for Freeway, as this is what he has been for most of his career. Solely working for himself now, Freeway is in position to finally become a major star. The timing is right with Philadelphia being among the forefront of the rap game.
For Freeway, this is something that appeared to be in the works for months. Freeway first appeared alongside Jay-Z at the “Made in America” festival. After making these appearances, Freeway forged ahead with Diamond in the Ruff. Last month, Freeway released his fourth album.
With his album out, Freeway was making his New York City media rounds. Freeway recently stopped by Power 105.1. Stopping in the morning, Freeway obviously spoke with “The Breakfast Club.” During the conversation, Freeway spoke on the festival, his album, Jay-Z, and much more.
