Before he delivers Diamond in the Ruff, Freeway released Freedom of Speech, a mixtape hosted by Don Cannon. Freedom of Speech serves as the holdover until Freeway releases his album, later this year. Released the same day as Wiz Khalifa offered Cabin Fever 2, Freeway has enjoyed generally positive reviews for his street project.

Released yesterday, Freedom of Speech has already been download thousands of times and is likely on the iPods and in the cars of numerous fans. Holding the streets down, as he has done throughout his career, Freeway is among Philadelphia’s most-durable artists. The release of this mixtape proves his longevity.

FUSE TV had the opportunity to sit Freeway down and discuss with him his Freedom of Speech mixtape. Freeway explained the process he went through creating the mixtape. The project features the likes of Mama Jones, the mother of Jim Jones, along with many other notable stars.
