Terrence Howard drew people in with his portrayal of Lucious, the powerful hip hop mogul, akin to the likes of Jay Z and Diddy. Longtime television fans compared him to other soap characters. For all the power that Lucious had, he made the mistake of murdering his best friend.
At the end of season one, Lucious was arrested at his comeback concert for the murder of his friend and this is where season two picked up. With the new season coming up, Taraji P. Henson’s Cookie is visiting Lucious in prison. New episodes of “Empire” return on September 23 at 9 pm EST.
