Freddie Gibbs allegedly attacked before Buffalo concert
Freddie Gibbs and Benny The Butcher have been feuding for months now. What exactly caused the beef is still unclear, but Benny did say that Freddie allegedly begged to collaborate on an album together. They did collaborate on Benny’s “One Way Flight” song in 2020, though.
Last month through, Benny did admit that he didn’t know what caused the beef with Freddie. Freddie also took offense to saying that the possible collab album between the two “came and went.”
On Saturday night, Freddie also performed in Benny’s hometown of Buffalo. Freddie was allegedly beat down and had his chain snatched before the concert though, according to Buffalo rapper Tory Rogers. Rogers added that it was bad, and what a video would be posted soon.
Photos of Freddie performing were also revealed, and he didn’t look good. His face appeared to be swollen, as he wore a mask that attempted to cover some of his injuries. Freddie didn’t lose all of his jewelry, though. Many believe that the attacker may have been a Benny The Butcher associate. Freddie’s security also allegedly didn’t help him.
