With Bryshere “Yazz” Gray on The New Edition Story, many “Empire” fans were glued in, tonight. But, those who didn’t read the full cast credits got an even bigger surprise. Another “Empire” star is on the show.
Bre-Z has made herself into a household name, portraying Freda Gatz, the woman man enough to try and shoot Lucious (Terrence Howard). A budding star, she broke away from “Empire” at the right time. While still on the show, she did The New Edition Story.
While Bre-Z plays a minor role on The New Edition Story, she plays one of the most-pivotal roles. Playing the older sister of one of the boys, she told them to hire a manager if they really wanted to win. This advice put New Edition on the big stage, but Twitter can’t get past seeing Freda Gatz on here.
