Among the factors accounted for in this number are $320 million earned for movies, TV shows, plays, $300 in investments, $280 million for Tyler Perry Studios, $60 million for BET+, and $40 million in homes.
In total, Perry has created 22 feature films, over 20 stage plays, 13 TV series, and two New York Times bestselling books. He also has a deal with Viacom where he’s paid $150 million per year to create content snd this also comes with a stake in BET +. All of these accomplishments all came after he experienced homelessness in New Orleans.
