The fact that Soulja Boy made it at all proves he defied the odds. Coming out of Atlanta, it was improbable that Soulja Boy would make it big in the rap game. But, he did just that by 2007, as he not only made it big in the game, he changed it entirely and helped usher in the internet era.
Soulja Boy made his first million dollars at the age of sixteen and now he’s putting his crew in a position to do the same thing. It’s rare to see Soulja Boy without AGoff, Paul Allen, or Lil 100. The case with any mogul, especially in hip hop, is to help others gain their position in the game.
Forbes recently reached out to Soulja Boy and they did a feature on him. He provided commentary, as the told about how Soulja Boy overcame the odds to become a major force. But, they also documented how Soulja Boy is on the comeback, doing new music with Drake and Nicki Minaj.
