There is always someone talking about the state of Florida, in the media, for many reasons. Rappers love Miami and many consider it a home away from home. Children love Orlando, due to Disneyworld and Universal Studios, so child-oriented media loves them too.
Every late summer/fall, Florida is in headlines due to the hurricane season. This year, Florida is getting hit with its worst hurricane in decades in Hurricane Matthew. The storm is preparing to do damage to the entire East Coast after ravaging Haiti.
Shepard Smith of Fox News did nothing to ease the minds of the state residents. Women were already fighting in Walmart and now the Florida reporter is telling people, straight up, if they don’t relocate soon, they will die. Adding insult to injury, the governor, Rick Scott, is not extending voter registration, even with the storm hitting.
