Fivio Foreign was arrested in New Jersey last weekend for assault and a few days later, he was still in jail. Not much information was provided at the time regrading who the Brooklyn rapper assaulted but it turned out to supposedly be his pregnant girlfriend, Jasmine, per HotNewHipHop. She is about to have his second child.
The incident reportedly went down at their New Jersey condo. Following the altercation, Foreign was taken to Bergen County jail. Now, Jasmine has taken to her Instagram feed to reveal that she isn’t pressing charges against Foreign and wasn’t the one who called the police on him.
“Thank you all so much for your kind words but I would like to clarify a few things,” Jasmine explained. “I did not call the police on Fivio, I did not press charges and I do not want the father of my children in jail. A situation happened in our home and a nosy neighbor called the police. The police are who pressed charges and in time Fivi will be relieved of all charges. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this time.”
It looks like Foreign and Jasmine have worked this situation out as they await the arrival of their baby. Back in August, there were also reports that Foreign was shot in Atlanta but that appeared to not be true after he was seen out at dinner in his Instagram stories hours after a scheduled club appearance.
