Felipe Nystrom shares scary and shocking story, on Facebook, of him being harassed by Federal Agents, in Portland, as six armed men surrounded him, demanding to see his ID, not telling him who they were, and not accepting his work badge, or allowing him to go to his car to show his ID; Man believes he would have been arrested as an illegal immigrant if the Deputy District Attorney didn’t happen to walk up and confirm he knew Nystrom [PHOTO]

Felipe Nystrom, by the looks of this photo, seems to be a typical guy, a happy one, at that. Most people would look at him and assume he is just another guy, but this man went through a horrifying experience, in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, while at the courthouse, showing up to be a translator for a grand jury. Nystrom would discover, however, that court was furloughed for the day, so he called to see what was going on, when he heard a man say "put the phone down," to which he didn't, as he assumed the man wasn't talking to him, until he heard someone more sternly say "put the phone down!," and he turned around to see a federal agent inching his hand towards his gun, demanding Nystrom put his hands up, while putting his phone down. Assuming he's being pranked, Nystrom asked how he could do both, to find himself surrounded by four armed agents, who asked him where he was from, with Nystrom providing his address, several times, stating he lived in Portland. When asked for his ID, Felipe Nystrom asked to go to his car to retrieve it, only to have two more agents called, now surrounded by six armed men, with his car being parked right beside him. Fortunately, Nystrom knew the Deputy District Attorney, who happened to be walking by, and asked what was going on, letting them know that they knew Nystrom, after which the agents let him go, but Nystrom says his belief is that they would have arrested him for being an illegal immigrant.By Bossyy

Federal agents were sent in to Portland, supposedly to put a handle on the protesters. Those in the city, however, have repeatedly shown that the city is at peace. Now, it’s looking as if the federal agents in Portland are doing more harm than good.

One look at the man in the photo, Felipe Nystrom, and one would assume he’s just another regular guy. A look at this photo and it looks like he’s getting ready for work. Unfortunately, Felipe Nystrom trying to go to work almost cost him his life, or his freedom.

Felipe Nystrom was at the Portland courthouse, to translate for a grand jury, only to find there was no court, that day. While calling to find out why court was furloughed, Nystrom was approached by a federal agent, who demanded that he put his phone down, which he ignored because he thought the man wasn’t speaking to him. A few seconds later, another agent, in a more demanding tone told him to put his phone down, and then told him to put his hands up, reaching for his gun.

Nystrom was soon surrounded by four armed federal agents, who asked him where he was from, and who he was, prompting Felipe Nystrom to show his work ID. Despite giving his name and address, telling them he is from Portland, this wasn’t enough for the agents. The agents wanted his ID, which was in his car, only five feet away, but when he asked to go to his car, two more agents were called, leaving Nystrom surrounded by six federal agents, armed.

Finally, Felipe Nystrom had the Deputy District Attorney arrive, who cleared him, letting the agents know that he knew him. But, Nystrom still shared this story to Facebook, saying he believed if the DDA didn’t arrive, that he would have been arrested as an illegal immigrant, despite proof otherwise being right inside of his car.
