Washington, DC’s hip hop scene is exploding into the mainstream. Wale has been holding things down for some time. Lil’ Scrappy began working with Rolls Royce Rizzy and plugged him with his crew, Grustle Gang. Meanwhile, Fat Trel took his mixtape game to another level and ended up networking with heavy hitters.

With the exception of having a history of successful rappers, Atlanta’s hip hop scene is also exploding. There are several rappers emerging onto the scene. Alley Boy is among the rising rappers from Atlanta. In 2012, Master P began plotting his comeback and he ended up turning to both Alley Boy and Fat Trel, forming the Louie V Mob.
