Fat Joe admits most rappers were scared to battle Ja Rule on #Verzuz; Fans praise Ja for his hits

Fat Joe says rappers were afraid to battle Ja Rule in VerzuzWhile Fat Joe had jokes about Ja Rule not being relevant for fifteen years, he knows the reputation. From 1999, until 2004, Rule owned the game. However, every rapper from his era had a Verzuz, except for Ja, so Joe decided to battle him.

On the outside looking in, there were times when it got tense, between Fat Joe and Ja Rule. But, those who understand the situation said it was just a New York thing, and it’s far worse, in the streets. The same things were said about the battle with Dipset and The L.O.X.

Once the battle was over, Fat Joe embraced Ja Rule, and gave him props for his contributions to hip hop. During his speech, Joe said a lot of rappers were scared to battle Ja, on Verzuz, due to his amount of hits. This led to fans on Twitter giving Rule tons of love, for the hits he’s created.
