Throughout the years, Fat Joe has dropped some straight bangers. He has been relatively quiet, the past few years, but he still has songs with the likes of Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa. But, Fat Joe reached the undeniable peak of his career in 2004-2005.
During this time, Fat Joe did the Terror Squad album, True Story, and the lead single, “Lean Back,” with Remy Ma. He also did “New York” alongside Ja Rule and Jadakiss, earning him a rival in 50 Cent. The run concluded with his own album, boasting “Get It Poppin'” with Nelly.
Despite the success Fat Joe had with Remy Ma, the two would soon be at odds with each other. The beef spilled over to Papoose, but they all mended fences while Remy Ma was in prison and Fat Joe was among the first to reach out to her when she was freed from prison. They have been working on a joint album that Fat Joe has named Platas o Plomo, aka Money or Bullets.
