Well, he tried it, but this is when a person is doing the most, and it backfires. The only reason for the Bow Wow jokes is how successful he was, in the first place. Early in his career, Bow Wow was the first successful kid rapper in the game. At the age of thirteen, he was going platinum and gold.

Let’s be honest, Bow Wow was outselling rappers who were twice his age. Not only that, but Bow Wow branched out into a film career before the age of sixteen. With Like Mike, Bow Wow showed his acting chops, alongside the likes of Morris Chestnut, and made a classic movie.

When it comes to the music, Bow Wow made hits out of the gate. His debut single, “Bounce Wit Me,” featuring Xscape, was a major hit, as was his Snoop Dogg-assisted “What’s My Name.” There were tons of hits in between, but Bow Wow made a classic with “Let Me Hold You,” featuring Omarion. Even after this, on the same album, he had the ballad, “Like You,” with Ciara. Before his career took a downward spiral, he and Chris Brown had a hit, in “Shortie Like Mine.”

On Twitter, a man tried to roast Bow Wow, saying people couldn’t name three songs. Safe to say, the fans showed him.
