Even though Instagram and Snapchat are the most-discussed social networking apps, Facebook remains number one. While people don’t use Facebook as much as the other two, and even Twitter, it remains on top for one reason. Their messenger app is the top messaging app.

Over the years, Messenger has evolved, and has taken on a life of its own. Many people, especially those who don’t want their phone number out there, use Messenger. Now, the Messenger app is going through another game-changing development.

Facebook has launched “Messenger Kids,” for those who are too young to be on social media. The app is for kids between the ages of six and twelve. Via Messenger Kids, they will be able to communicate with their relatives, online, without actually having a Facebook account.
