Several release dates have come and gone for Fabolous’ sixth studio album, Loso’s Way 2. With Fabolous’ last album coming out in 2009, he has since kept himself going with his mixtapes. Fabolous delivered his last mixtape, The S.O.U.L. Tape 2, on Thanksgiving day in 2012.
Fabolous has all but been reduced to a mixtape rapper, but Def Jam still has plans for the rapper. Def Jam has since focused their energy around Kanye West and Rick Ross, but there is still room for Fabolous. Earlier today, Fabolous released “Ready,” featuring Chris Brown, the first single off Loso’s Way 2.
During the Def Jam conference call, Fabolous spoke on the impact the “Ready” single will have on radio and how he manages to please the radio and the streets. With his new album officially launched, Fabolous said The S.O.U.L. Tape 2 was the preview. Now, Fab is preparing to return with his latest album.
