Fabolous approached by police officer during interview with Jim Jones

Fabolous has been one of the biggest rappers out of the east coast, since 2001. The Brooklyn native put out his debut studio album, “Ghetto Fabolous.” Since then, Fab has remained very consistent, all while putting out hit after hit. These include “Make Me Better” featuring Ne-Yo, “Throw It In The Bag” featuring The Dream, “You Be Killin’ Em,” and more.

Fabolous is now going viral, for a very interesting interview. He recently was parked in his Rolls Royce, and doing an interview with fellow NY native, Jim Jones. While speaking on new music that Fab has on the way, Fab noticed a police officer approach him.

The officer said that someone claimed that Fab didn’t have plates on his car. Fab soon replied that he was simply parked and doing an interview. From that point, Jim Jones let Fab get off the phone, so he could safely handle that situation. Jones added that Black people still unfortunately get profiled many times by police and others, regardless of financial status.

“That’s kinda wild, um, he was sitting in a Rolls Royce. How is police hating on that man?” said Jones. “This is crazy. Firsthand, we get to see what it feels like to be Black and rich in America. It doesn’t matter if you rich or if you poor, it matter the color.”
