One thing notable about French Montana is how he took the buzz he built through mixtapes and took it mainstream. Bad Boy Records is one of the hottest record labels out, seventeen years after Diddy proclaimed they would be on top. Credit can be shared among the team, but French Montana has nothing taken away.
French Montana made fans wait on Excuse My French, but he is wasting no time getting more music out. What originally was supposed to be an album was the new mixtape, Mac & Cheese 4. In the middle of recording, French Montana decided to make the project his sophomore album.
Since mac and cheese is made in the kitchen, French Montana must be cooking something up in the studio. Recently, he hit the studio with 2 Chainz and Chinx and they also had Maybach Music’s Spiff TV with them. Both 2 Chainz and Chinx also have big projects due this year, so a lot of tracks were possibly knocked out, French Montana shared the photo of them all in the studio on Instagram.
