Becoming one of the most-popular rappers in the game, Eve received many offers. Among them was the opportunity to be the executive producer of her own sitcom, “Eve.”
From 2003 to 2006, Eve played the role of sitcom star and television producer. There was a five year gap between albums when Eve returned in 2007. It looked as if 2007 would be big on comebacks, as DMX, Eve, Dr. Dre, Ja Rule, and Eminem were all rumored to have new album due, but none ever came.
