Of the two Mary Mary sisters, Erica Campbell is easily the most-popular member of the group. However, all of that popularity isn’t from gospel, unfortunately. But, that is life, and how it is, as nobody in this world is perfect.
Erica Campbell has become one of the biggest names in entertainment, during the 2010s. She has managed to make the transition from the niche gospel lane to more mainstream. How she did it is the amazing part, as she has remain a gospel figure.
Talking to “The Breakfast Club,” Erica Campbell sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The conversation was about her life, as a gospel entertainer. She also spoke on Mary Mary, the group credited the most for helping gospel music gain mainstream appeal.
